Week 22: Look for Positive in Others

We have continued to eliminate negative thinking, label read, recognize the importance of breathing, add positive affirmations into our daily lives, eliminate high fructose corn syrup (fructose as well) & dyes from our diet, sit in silence within nature for 30 minutes a day, set goals in our lives, eliminate preservatives from the diet, practice forgiveness, offer an attitude to gratitude, drink a glass of water each morning before we put anything into our bodies, offer more love to others in our life, eat more raw foods, let go of preconceived ideas, be impeccable with our word, drink half our body weight in ounces of water, made a personal mission statement, rest for 20 minutes a day, eliminate sugar & sugar substitutes, not take things personally and this week we are going to look for the positive in others.

Once we practice last week’s change of not taking things personally, it is also easier and almost at times automatic in completing this week’s change. When we begin to not take things personally and realize that this is a fault that should be forgiven and understood in another, often different aspects/points of view become available. We can now start to see others as someone that needs love just like ourselves. If we see someone struggling in any area, we have or will be there one day ourselves. In these realizations and throughout my progression in life, I like to start to find the strengths in others through obvious weaknesses. I try to offer a blessing in an area if I feel they could use the extra love. I always want to turn the potential negative into a more possible positive.

When we fall in love, this is when we are usually seeing the things we love in another person. This is also the time that we tend to ignore some traits we do not favor and focus soley on the one’s that lift our hearts making us feel that this person is the one. There are times, we may even make someone into someone we want them to be in our head while in life, they do not hold many of the values we have placed upon and expected them to carry. No matter the case, the point is in those moments, there was only one mindset overall and that was towards the positive. We were able to see so much greatness, purity, positivity, hopefulness, love, trust, honor, respect and more that if we have done it even once in our life, we have the programming and potential to do it again. It doesn’t have to be by being in love with another, just merely finding something good in any person.

None of us are perfect nor will we ever be no matter how hard we may try or fool ourselves. This doesn’t mean that we don’t have a core of greatness that needs to be honored a bit more than usual. This core potentiality needs much more celebration that we give it. This core is where connection begins, hope continues and love can last if applied properly in life. This is the spark we all have as we all started with a perfect hope and flowing innate potential as we were formed into the human being we turned into today.

Can you imagine that if we were to recognize just the pure spark of life in everyone that we passed, the drastic shift in consciousness and daily living potential we would have? Not only for our own spirit to recognize, but also for everyone to just be recognized in greatness for a moment? We would all be gleaming lights walking around. What a much more healing place than where we all currently reside!

Another of my favorite quotes is “Be the change you aim to see in the world.” With that, I try daily to reflect what I want. What I think could help everyone, not just women or mothers or families, but every living, breathing person that walks on this earth. So with that, I choose to live surrounded by mindful, caring and other positive people like myself. If you want the same, this is your week to create just that!
